THE CENTER
Our Peer Village home is currently under construction on the outskirts of Malawi’s capital city, Lilongwe.
The site is perfectly located for two reasons. First, Peer Village is
centrally positioned in the country, meaning students from around
Malawi can reach the center more quickly. Second, thanks to the
recent growth of broadband fiber in this developing nation, our
Peer Village center can access the internet connectivity recently
available in the region.
Design by Journeyman International
The center has been designed in partnership with Journeyman International, a specialist architecture team with expertise designing modern spaces in the developing world.
PEER VILLAGE HAS TWO SPACES WITHIN THE CENTER TO SERVE THE NEEDS OF OUR MALAWI VISITORS:

A classroom space to host students as they prepare to connect with their global peers;

A bespoke amphitheater with webcams and microphones to allow full classroom collaborations with international partners in real time.
